Experience the wintry archipelago on the steamship Blidösund. During the month of December you can eat Christmas table in the day or evening, take a day trip to the Almvik Christmas market or enjoy last boat cruise of the year which traditionally goes to Blidösundet and back to Stockholm!

In September, from Wednesday to Saturday, you can join our evening cruise. Blidösund Live. Where you can enjoy live music, food and drink in a friendly atmosphere.
Norrtälje travel - regular traffic
Travel with Blidösund to & from Norrtälje.
On Friday evenings, Blidösund runs from Stockholm to Norrtälje. On Sundays, the tour goes back to Stockholm again via Blidösundet. Below you can see which timetables apply. Table reservations can be made when buying tickets online.

Travelling with us in Blidösundet?
If you travel between the piers and Islands in Blidösundet, from Vagnsunda to Norrsund, you can only buy these tickets on board. The bar and café are open, welcome onboard!
Connecting public transport to
the steamship Blidösund
Fridays: For travel back to Stockholm, get off in Norrsund and change to m/s Sjöbris. Alternatively, get off in Norrtälje and take bus 676 back to Stockholm.
SundaysSundays: For traveling back to Norrtälje, get off in Furusund and change to bus or get off in Glyxnäs and take m/s Sunnan 17:40 to Norrtälje. For a round trip from Stockholm travel with m/s Sjöbris 12:50 from Strömkajen and change to s/s Blidösund in Glyxnäs at 16:00 for a return trip to Stockholm.

What are the public transport links to the s/s Blidösund timetable?
On Fridays, you can get off at Blidösund in Norrsund to transfer to m/s Sjögull for the journey back to Vaxholm, Lidingö and Stockholm. If you travel all the way to Norrtälje, there is a connecting bus back to Stockholm.
On Sundays there is a connecting bus back to Norrtälje if you get off at Blidösund in Furusund. You can travel from Stockholm at 12:50 with m/s Sjögull to change to Blidösund and travel back to Stockholm.

Can I buy boat tickets on board?
Yes, you can always buy boat tickets on board s/s Blidösund. But if you want to be guaranteed a seat on board and reserve a table in the restaurant, we recommend you to pre-purchase boat tickets on our website.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, in the designated place in the ship but not in the restaurant. Talk to the staff on board and they will help you.
What is the cancellation policy?
Purchased tickets are non-refundable. Tickets can be exchanged for another trip up to 14 days before the booked trip. Change to another trip is subject to availability. In case of illness, the purchased ticket can be redeemed for a gift card corresponding to the value of the purchase, which is valid for 1 year.
On what dates does the steamship Blidösund leave Norrtälje on Sundays?
2 and 16 July, 13 and 20 August we extend the timetable and travel all the way from Norrtälje Hamn at 12:15. During these dates, the tour goes as usual via Furusundet 15:00 and Blidösundet.
