Welcome to Svartl\u00f6ga \u2013 one of the archipelago\u2019s most unique islands and a perfect day trip for the whole family. The boat journey alone, through the sparkling waters of Roslagen, is worth the trip \u2013 and once ashore, you\u2019ll have 2.5 hours to enjoy peace, beauty, and history.<\/p>\n

Svartl\u00f6ga is home to one of the best-preserved village environments in the entire Stockholm archipelago. Unlike many other islands, Svartl\u00f6ga was spared during the Russian raids of 1719, making the village the oldest intact settlement in the area. Stroll along charming gravel roads lined with red cottages, boathouses, and blooming gardens.<\/p>\n

Film lovers will be excited to know that parts of the new Saltkr\u00e5kan<\/em> movie were filmed right here. It\u2019s easy to see why \u2013 Svartl\u00f6ga has a pristine, fairytale-like atmosphere straight out of an Astrid Lindgren story.<\/p>\n

Families with children will love the island\u2019s small, child-friendly beach \u2013 perfect for a swim or some playtime in the sand. Just a short walk away lies Lassas Hagar, a five-hectare arboretum that\u2019s truly one of a kind. Here you\u2019ll find a water garden and more than 2,500 exotic trees and shrubs, including magnolias, rhododendrons, maples, and majestic oaks. It\u2019s both a work of art and a nature project \u2013 right in the heart of the archipelago.<\/p>\n

There are no cars and no shops on Svartl\u00f6ga \u2013 just nature, culture, and tranquility. A perfect escape from everyday life.<\/p>\n

Join us for a wonderful day trip from Furusund to Svartl\u00f6ga this summer!
Our historic steamship, S\/S Blid\u00f6sund, departs every Sunday from Furusund’s steamboat pier, just below Furusund Inn.<\/p>\n

The journey to Svartl\u00f6ga passes through about ten picturesque stops in the beautiful Blid\u00f6sund strait and takes just under 2 hours. If you prefer, you may board or disembark at one of the piers along the route (see timetable below), instead of starting from Furusund.<\/p>\n

Join us for a delightful day trip from Norrt\u00e4lje to Svartl\u00f6ga this summer! Our historic steamship, S\/S Blid\u00f6sund, departs every Sunday at 8:00 AM from Norrt\u00e4lje harbor. You\u2019ll return to Norrt\u00e4lje around 4:00 PM (please note: the final leg from Furusund to Norrt\u00e4lje is by local bus and not included in the ticket).<\/p>\n

The trip to Svartl\u00f6ga goes via Furusund and around ten scenic piers through the beautiful Blid\u00f6sundet strait, taking approximately 4 hours. If you wish, you can hop on at one of the stops along the route. During the journey, we offer a breakfast package and a delicious bistro menu. An engaging audio guide is also available for those wanting to learn more about the surroundings.<\/p>\n

Once on Svartl\u00f6ga, we pause for 2.5 hours \u2013 plenty of time to explore the Arboretum or enjoy a swim. If you’d like to have lunch onboard, you’re welcome back to the ship 30 minutes before departure for our jetty seating.<\/p>\n

The return trip to Furusund takes about 1 hour, and the bistro menu is available onboard. From Furusund, you can travel back to Norrt\u00e4lje via local bus 632\/634, which takes about 40 minutes.<\/p>\n

Join us for a wonderful day trip from Stockholm to Svartl\u00f6ga this summer! The journey begins at Str\u00f6mkajen, Pier 6, with departure at 8:30 AM and a return to the city at 7:55 PM.<\/p>\n

From Str\u00f6mkajen, the excursion starts aboard our fast vessel M\/S Sj\u00f6bris<\/strong>. Around 11:00 AM in Glyxn\u00e4s<\/strong>, you’ll transfer to our historic steamship S\/S Blid\u00f6sund<\/strong>, which will take you the rest of the way to Svartl\u00f6ga. Onboard S\/S Blid\u00f6sund, we offer a breakfast package and a delicious bistro menu. If you’d like to learn more about the area, we also provide an engaging audio guide.<\/p>\n

At Svartl\u00f6ga, you’ll have a 2.5-hour stop \u2013 plenty of time to visit the Arboretum or enjoy a refreshing swim. If you\u2019d like to have lunch, feel free to return to the ship 30 minutes before departure for our jetty seating.<\/p>\n

The return trip to Stockholm takes just over 5 hours, traveling through the beautiful Blid\u00f6sundet strait. Our tasty bistro menu is available onboard throughout the journey.<\/p>\n
