The region is rich in history and lined with magnificent castles and manor houses, such as Krusenberg, Steninge, and Skokloster.\u00a0On the journey to and from Uppsala, we pass fifteen bridges, half of which must open for us. The highlight of the trip is when we slowly glide through the narrow Fyris River \u2013 just like a Mississippi river steamer!<\/p>\n<p>Along the way, we make a stop in Sweden\u2019s oldest town,
