Steamship tour Between Stockholm and Norrtälje

From June 27 to August 8, you can take a cruise every Friday through the entire Stockholm archipelago to Norrtälje. Experience the archipelago at its finest while enjoying the soft thrum of the steam engine and take the opportunity to see how an authentic coal-fired steam engine works!

Book a seat in the dining room during one of the three sittings available in the evening to enjoy, for example, a classic “Ångbåtsbiff” paired with great drinks. In Norrtälje, you can either stay overnight at a nice hotel or take a night bus back to Stockholm.

If you prefer not to travel all the way to Norrtälje, you can disembark at Norrsunds brygga and take a regular ferry back to Stockholm.

S/S Blidösund departs at 16:40 from Skeppsbron, below Slottsbacken, and arrives in Norrtälje around 23:25.

Hop On / Hop Off (disembark at Vaxholm-Norrsund), Adult: 195 SEK, Youth (13-25 years): 100 SEK, Child (6-12 years): 95 SEK, Infant (0-5 years): 25 SEK

On Sundays, from June 29 to August 10, you can take S/S Blidösund from Norrtälje Harbor to Furusund. Along the way, enjoy the beautiful archipelago and dine in the restaurant or grab something from the café.

In Furusund, you can either join the day trip to Svartlöga (separate ticket) or take a bus back to Norrtälje. After the Svartlöga trip, we will return to Furusund at 00:00, where you can continue the journey to Stockholm. We will arrive in Stockholm at approximately 2x.xx.

On Sundays, you’ll have the chance to enjoy a full day aboard the steamship Blidösund, cruising through the Norrtälje Canal, visiting Svartlöga, and then taking a scenic tour through Stockholm’s archipelago, with a grand finale in front of the Royal Palace.
