Welcome to Celebrate Blidösund Day on August 2 – aboard the classic S/S Blidösund. Throughout the day, we’ll make three loops around Yxlan through the narrow and scenic Blidösundet, with departure and return in Furusund.
Onboard, you’ll enjoy delicious food from our À la carte menu, world-class archipelago views, and the unique feeling of traveling on a living steamship.

Experience Blidösund Day

Welcome aboard S/S Blidösund for an unforgettable summer day at sea! On August 2, we celebrate Blidösund Day with an atmospheric journey through the beautiful Blidösundet – three loops around Yxlan, departing from and returning to the idyllic Furusund. Enjoy the fresh sea air, the historic atmosphere onboard, and stunning archipelago views as we pass charming piers along the way.

Onboard, your senses will be treated – in our dining room, food is served from our À la carte menu, and on the sun deck, you can relax with a refreshing drink in hand.

Departures and Restaurant Seating times

On Blidösund Day – August 2, we offer three atmospheric cruises, each with restaurant sittings in our dining room – all featuring our À la carte menu.

The first loop departs from Furusund at 15:00 and returns at 17:30. During this cruise, we offer our first sitting in the dining room from 15:30–17:30 – perfect for a long lunch with archipelago views.

Next comes our second loop, departing at 17:45 and returning to Furusund at 20:15. The second sitting takes place from 18:00–20:00 – an early evening dinner.

We end the day with a magical evening cruise, departing at 20:30. The final loop returns to Furusund at 23:30. Our last sitting of the day runs from 20:30–22:30.
