Expeditions with meals and guided tour

Book a full-day excursion to Stockholm’s outer archipelago onboard our event ship M/S Sjöbris. The ship accommodates up to 150 people. Onboard, we can offer light meals, snacks, ice cream, and drinks.

For an extra touch, you can book our captain and guide, Göran Sjödin, who shares his deep knowledge of the archipelago and offers fascinating anecdotes.

Price Example:
*1090 SEK per person, including VAT
*Price based on a 9-hour cruise for 150 people with a menu package (breakfast coffee and rolls, cold cut lunch with non-alcoholic beverage, coffee and cake in the afternoon).

Additional fee for Göran Sjödin: 5000 SEK including VAT (subject to his availability).

Our ship

An experience in itself

M/S Sjöbris is one of the few larger archipelago ships with the necessary certifications to visit remote places such as Röder, Söderarm, and Huvudskär. The ship accommodates up to 150 people on expedition trips and has 92 seats on the open upper deck. Built between 1983 and 1987, it underwent a renovation in 2007 to raise the standard. M/S Sjöbris is our only vessel that offers guided tours to any destination, making it perfect for unique archipelago experiences.

Your day with us

Our own archipelago expeditions, which we organize every spring and late summer, are incredibly popular. M/S Sjöbris is the only event ship we have that is certified to take us to the outermost archipelago, and it is also fast enough to reach these remote locations in just a few hours. Now, you have the opportunity to book your own archipelago excursion, whether it’s for your association, club, or company. Our home dock is Skeppsbron below the castle, but we can also pick you up at another location if desired.

On these excursions, we can accommodate up to 150 people, with a minimum of 50 participants. During the day, we offer coffee and sandwiches upon boarding, followed by a cold buffet lunch with both fish and meat dishes, potatoes, salad, bread, and butter, as well as a non-alcoholic beverage. Wine or beer can be purchased in the cafeteria.

Frequently asked questions

Our home dock is Skeppsbron, located just below the castle, and this is where we charge the vessel rental, until we return. Of course, we can pick you up (or drop you off) at another location if you prefer.

Some of the islands, especially those in the outer archipelago, are highly weather-dependent. For these, we may need alternative landing spots, as the wind can shift quickly, preventing us from landing at the planned location. There are also bird and wildlife protection areas that we may need to consider.

We aim to keep the buffet both lactose- and gluten-free. Anyone unsure about a particular item can always ask the staff onboard, who will be able to tell them exactly what each dish contains. Since both (beef) and fish are included in the buffet, these dietary preferences do not need to be notified. If there is a vegan or someone with a severe allergy to a specific food, please inform us via email with the name no later than seven working days before departure.

You can bring your dog to the designated area. Please check with the crew when you board. Keep in mind that you will be onboard for several hours.

No, the entire ship is considered a restaurant area and is subject to a no-smoking policy.

Make sure to dress according to the weather! Also, wear good shoes for climbing on rocks. If you want an extra dimension to the journey, bring binoculars and a nautical chart.
