Archipelago Expeditions

Our Archipelago Expeditions are full-day trips with several stops on islands in the Stockholm Archipelago. The captain and guide is Göran P Sjödin, who shares both facts and anecdotes about what we pass along the way to our destination. If we’re lucky, we might even spot seals and sea eagles during the cruise.

Lunch is served in a buffet style after disembarking, and in our café, you can treat yourself to ice cream, pastries, and a refreshing drink throughout the day.

Ornö and St Sandböte

The early summer archipelago expeditions will take you to Ornö and St Sandböte, featuring many sights, on may 12th, 13th, and 15th. Onboard the M/S Sjöbris, we have our fantastic captain and guide, Göran P Sjödin, who shares exciting stories about the islands, buildings, boats, and archipelago residents.

St Sandböte was purchased by city council member Anna Lindhagen and leased to boatbuilder and illustrator Johannes Söderman and his wife Clara, whose cottage is still standing today. During the day, there will also be a visit to Anna’s charming cottage. Additionally, we will visit the preserved boat house, now home to the Ornö Heritage Society’s boat building museum, offering a glimpse into the island’s history.
