With our ships, you can easily reach several different destinations and experience the nature, villages, and wonderful atmosphere that only the archipelago can offer. 

On board our ships, you can also enjoy something delicious from our cafés or book a table in the dining room on tours where this is offered. Our journeys are flexible and tailored to provide you with an unforgettable experience – from small islands to popular destinations like Vaxholm, Sandhamn, or Arholma.

Sandhamn

Discover Sandhamn

Take one of our ships to Sandhamn and experience a full day in the heart of the archipelago. S/S Norrskär departs from Strömkajen, where you can book a table in the restaurant and enjoy a meal on your way there or back. Alternatively, you can hop on one of our ships from Stavsnäs for a shorter trip. 

Once you arrive, a variety of activities await – swim and sunbathe at Trouville, explore charming archipelago shops, or take a walk to see Sandhamn’s chapel. You can also play tennis, padel, or rent a kayak. Don’t miss the opportunity to visit our café onboard and enjoy a snack or light meal during the journey. 

Sandhamn is just a tour away – with a day full of experiences! 

Vaxholm

Experience the idyllic capital of the archipelago!

Take one of our ships from Strömkajen ( just in front of the Grand Hotel) in Stockholm to Vaxholm, a journey of about one hour. On some of our ships, you can book a table in the restaurant and enjoy a delicious meal while taking in the fantastic views.

Once in Vaxholm, you will find charming alleys, inviting small shops, and a historic fortress – visit Vaxholm Castle for a unique insight into the city’s defense history or take a stroll along the quays to discover art galleries and cozy cafés.

Norrtälje

Discover Norrtälje

Take a cruise aboard the historic steamship Blidösund from Skeppsbron in Stockholm to Norrtälje, a journey that takes you through the beautiful landscape of Stockholm’s archipelago and lasts about seven hours. Onboard, you have the opportunity to book a table in the restaurant and enjoy a pleasant dinner while taking in the soothing views.

Once in Norrtälje, you’ll find charming cobblestone streets, exciting shops, and a rich history. Visit the Norrtälje Museum to learn more about the city’s maritime heritage or take a walk along the idyllic harbor promenade, where you can discover local art galleries and cozy cafés.

Make this a lovely weekend activity: Book a hotel in Norrtälje where you can stay overnight on Friday upon arrival. Then, you can explore the city on Saturday and either return on your own or, after another overnight stay, take the S/S Blidösund back home on Sunday.

Arholma

Discover Arholma – Archipelago adventure and relaxation

Join us to Arholma, located in the outer part of the archipelago! On board our ships, you can enjoy coffee, light meals, or a glass of wine/beer in our cafés – perfect for starting or finishing your trip with something delicious. 

Once you arrive at Arholma, you’ll be greeted by beautiful nature and plenty of activities – hike along the scenic trails, visit the historic Arholma Battery, or take a swim at one of the lovely beaches. The island also offers a cozy café, two restaurants and a small shop to explore. 

Arholma is the perfect destination for a relaxing and adventurous day in the archipelago and can be reached both from Strömkajen in Stockholm and on the Northern Boatline from Norrtälje ! 

Other popular destinations

Svenska Högarna

Svenska Högarna is located as far out as you can go in the Stockholm archipelago. It is an exclusive destination without regular traffic, which can only be reached in favorable weather conditions. The island harbours Sweden's best-preserved Heidenstamsfyr lighthouse and offers a peaceful, secluded atmosphere, cliffs, and bays for swimming. Svenska Högarna is accessible via expedition trips. Keep an eye out for our expedition offers for what we are doing this year!

Rödlöga

Rödlöga is located far out in the northern archipelago, outside of Blidö. It's a true hidden gem with an active village that has a fine shop, a café, a museum, and a bookstore. Take a stroll on the island, visit an art exhibition or go for a refreshing dip in the Baltic. Every summer, Rödlöga also hosts its famous cheese market in July, which attracts many. Rödlöga can be reached on S/S Blidösund from Norrtälje or from central Stockholm on M/S Sjögull or M/S Sjöbris.

Möja

Möja is an exciting island with plenty to see. It features a charming church, a local heritage museum, a dance hall, and a mini railway leading to a fun farm. Here, you can wander around among all the sights, swim, and enjoy a meal at the restaurant. A trip to Möja is a perfect break from everyday life, offering an opportunity to explore both nature and culture. You can get to Möja with our regular traffic.
