Blidösundsbolaget offers tailor-made ship rentals for all types of events – from dinner cruises and weddings to corporate events and transportation. With over 50 years of experience, we create memorable experiences with a focus on high-quality food, sustainable ingredients, and a service-oriented crew.

Our rental period is: May 1st until Midsummer week, and from mid-August until the end of September.

S/S BLIDÖSUND

S/S Blidösund is a classic steamship – a treasured gem preserved since its construction in 1911, with a unique atmosphere that evokes memories of times gone by. S/S Blidösund has its own program, including music evenings during the season, but can also be rented when it is not running its scheduled events. The ship comfortably accommodates 200 guests for mingling and features three smaller dining rooms on the upper deck for groups looking to enjoy a fine meal. With its coal-fired steam engine and nostalgic ambiance, S/S Blidösund provides an unforgettable setting for various types of events.

M/S RIDDARFJÄRDEN

This beautiful ship is a classic archipelago ship from 1936. M/S Riddarfjärden offers both a spacious lounge and the opportunity for outdoor mingling on the upper deck, making it perfect for summer parties, weddings, or dinner cruises. With a capacity for up to 120 guests for mingling and an atmosphere of tradition and elegance, it is the perfect choice for a memorable event on the water. M/S Riddarfjärden is also well-suited for smaller gatherings (starting from 30 guests) without feeling too large.

M/S RIDDARHOLMEN

M/S Riddarholmen is a vessel that is perfect for larger events. With a history dating back to 1916 when it operated in zinc transport on the Göta Canal, it was rebuilt in the late 1990s for charter operations. With its large capacity, it can accommodate up to 170 people for receptions and offers a unique experience for dinners, weddings, or corporate events. From the spacious aft deck, which holds up to 150 standing guests, you can enjoy a fantastic view of Stockholm’s beautiful archipelago, making M/S Riddarholmen a popular choice for all types of events.

M/S SJÖBRIS

M/S Sjöbris is a fast vessel built in the 1980s with a bright and modern interior, perfect for medium to large groups looking to travel far into the archipelago or be quickly transported anywhere. The vessel offers a fantastic panoramic view of the archipelago from the open upper sun deck, making it ideal for a journey with stunning scenery. M/S Sjöbris can accommodate up to 300 people for short transport and offers buffet service for up to 90 guests. It is the only charter vessel classified as D-class, allowing it to travel the farthest into the archipelago. This is also the ship we use for our popular archipelago expeditions every spring and late summer.

M/S SJÖGULL

M/S Sjögull is the sister ship to M/S Sjöbris and is almost identical in design and function. Built in the 1980s with a bright and modern interior, it is perfect for medium to large groups looking to explore the archipelago or be quickly transported to various destinations. During peak season, M/S Sjögull operates in regular service but can be rented after scheduled routes have ended. The vessel has an open sun deck with a fantastic view of the archipelago, making it an excellent choice for a journey with beautiful panoramas. M/S Sjögull can accommodate up to 300 people for short transport and offers buffet service for up to 90 guests.

M/S REX

M/S Rex was built in 1937, one year after its sister ship, M/S Riddarfjärden, to operate as an ice-breaking vessel in the Stockholm archipelago. With its period-style interior in the lounge and a spacious open upper deck, it is perfect for receptions and mingling transports. In 2019, a hybrid installation was completed, allowing M/S Rex to operate on environmentally friendly electric power for shorter transports. M/S Rex is recommended for up to 100 guests for mingling transport. Onboard, we offer light snacks and wraps, paired with sparkling wine, beer, or wine.
